• International merchant ships avoid the Saudi ports and incurred losses in millions

    Because of congestion and the length of the waiting period  spent in the saudi ports especially in Jeddah Islamic Port which amounted to about four days,merchant ships ment to ignore and avoid passing by or stopping in saudi ports especially some of them carrying goods to Saudi dealers  to avoid delays at the port and disorder agenda of movement of the ship what cost the kingdom and companies operating in the ports heavy losses by millions of dollars.
    Shipping sources revealed  to " Aleqtesadia" that the lack of good pavements, slow unloading  and delaying the passage of cargo ships through the Saudi ports to international ports, pay most of the shipping lines to impose an increase in the freight to Saudi ports only (Jeddah Islamic Port, the port of Dammam) up to 700 riyals for the container.
